About the Chef

Arnieka is not your text book chef. She has a style all her own. Her passion for cooking began as a child helping prepare family meals and holiday feast. At the age of 15 she began working in local restaurants and by age 22 she was training under culinary professionals as a civilian cook for the U.S. Military. Starting as a prep cook she worked her way up to 2nd cook overseeing prep cooks and servers. During this time Arnieka learned the many cooking methods/techniques, food storage and cleanup. Cooking for thousands of troops in such a fast paced environment she quickly learned the importance of teamwork, perseverance and leadership. She’s always dreamed of owning her own business. Therefore, in 2014 Arnieka decided to place her culinary career on hold and pursue her business degree, accepting a job offer in corporate America and ending her 6 year career at the military dining facility where she proudly served our U.S. armed forces. In 2018 Arnieka graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. She’s now the proud owner of Queen Kuisine LLC preparing quality, soul satisfying food, delivered with passion, and leaving her heart on the plate.
